There are several common methods of opening SolidWorks
Start Menu → Scroll down to “S” → SolidWorks20XX → SolidWorks20XX
Double-click Desktop Icon
C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\SOLIDWORKS\SLDWORKS.exe

Click with the Left-Mouse-Button (LMB) the "Big X" on the top right corner
File→Exit
Alt→F→X
If you accidentally close SolidWorks you'll have to wait all over again to reopen it...

Open SolidWorks, RMB the icon on the taskbar, and Pin it.
Create a Desktop Shortcut, RMB the icon, create a custom keyboard shortcut to quickly open the software
