There are several methods that SolidWorks utilizes the buttons on your mouse
- Left Click - LMB

- Deletes the selected item
- CTRL+Z
- Typically used in UNDO actions, but SolidWorks doesn't utilize this function
- CTRL+C
- Copy a selection

- Paste a selection

If you were to use the modifier keys along with the LMB, you can select multiple items
- Hold CTRL Key
- LMB First item (Head)
- Keep holding CTRL Key
- LMB last item (Feet)
This will select only the Head and the Feet

- Hold SHIFT Key
- LMB first item (Head)
- Keep holding SHIFT Key
- LMB last item (Feet)
This will select the Whole Body

- To select multiple items, click the first item followed by holding shift and clicking another item
- This will select everything between the first item and second (Head, torso, legs, toes)
- If you just want to select the clicked items, hold Ctrl instead of Shift (Just Head & Toes)

When you select multiple items in SolidWorks, they'll go into the "Blue Box" on the left
Using CTRL or SHIFT along with the LMB, you can select multiple items from the graphics area and view/edit that selection from the Blue Box
Pay close attention to the Titles the in the Selected Entities Blue Box:
- You may think you selected the Line, but you might have selected an end/mid Point etc.
